Baking is one of the more popular W/NP Learning Center courses that teaches marketable/valuable employment and life skills. Friday mornings from January 25th-March 1st W/NP had a fundraiser event at the Rose House in downtown Stevens Point. At these events, JoJo’s bakery sold home-made bakery items! JoJo started her bakery to generate an income to support her 8 children! No matter where you are in the world, women’s empowerment matters!
W/NP has been working to increase youth involvement by reaching out to the local high school and university. Intern, Katelin Bridgman has created a student chapter of W/NP on the UWSP campus and has been working to recruit members, plan volunteer events, and cultural awareness presentations!
